Hotel Tales Route Planner
A markdown schedule for four staff routes, four guest arcs, and the evenings you will not get back.
This tool is a printable evening plan for Hotel Tales after the July 31, 2026 launch. It is not an interactive simulator. Copy the checklists into notes. Steam will not sync them. Pair it with Shift Planning for the clock, Romance Routes for tone, Relationships for trust tradeoffs, and Endings only when you want outcome language. Install through Patch 1.0.7 so relationship values and coins actually reset when you load another file.
Retail is four staff romance routes plus four guest relationship arcs. You cannot finish all eight as “best friends with benefits” on one probation. Supporting one person lowers another’s trust. Plan themes, not a rainbow save.
Before you tick anything
- Client is 1.0.7 or newer (1.0.3 if you still see wrong endings — that patch is mandatory).
- You have at least three save slots: Blind, Staff-focus, Guest-focus (or Owner-focus).
- You read Getting Started once so mini-games are not the surprise.
- You accept the game is adult-only on Steam.
If the first box is empty, stop planning dates and update.
Pick a theme for save A (first full run)
Tick one staff column and at most one guest column for the file you will actually play blind.
Staff (pick one):
- Pasithea — spa + three-stage disco rhythm. Festival spelling Pasiphae.
- Laveau — bar, cocktails, infernal defense puzzle. Sometimes marketed as Lavo.
- Nikki — front desk / luggage energy; Deluxe comics are parallel, not this route’s substitute.
- Fourth staff route — name her from Main Cast / Romance Routes when you lock the department. Do not invent a fifth staff romance.
Guest (pick one or none):
- Huntress Griselda — dated appointments; community playthroughs spend evenings here early.
- Solomon — appearance explained in Patch 1.0.2 events.
- Lady Borealis — swimsuit presentation fixed in 1.0.2; still a guest arc, not a clothing DLC.
- Paulo — dinner disappearance / mystery; 1.0.7 touched his bad ending. See Mysteries.
- Jotun — Day 5 arrival is a calendar beat, not a full extra staff route.
- Sea Prince Marsh — Steam for the Prince mini-game; crossover guest, not Deluxe.
Management overlay (optional on the same file):
- Prioritize Hotel Owner professionalism — Owner Rewards — even if romance is secondary.
If you ticked two staff and two guests, you are already lying to yourself. Delete ticks until the evening fits Shift Planning.
Save B and C — the replay machines
- Save B flips staff: if A was spa/disco, B is bar/defense (or the reverse).
- Save C is a guest-mystery file: Paulo / night events / “do not ask about the previous employee.”
- Never overwrite A until the first ending is in Gallery or you have a screenshot of the finale card.
- After load, glance at coins and hearts. 1.0.7 fixed both sticking to the wrong file. If they still stick, Saves & Voice.
First-week evening boxes (copy per save)
Day 1 evening: __________________ (character or “sleep / Owner”)
Day 2 evening: __________________
Day 3 evening: __________________
Day 4 evening: __________________
Day 5 evening: __________________ (remember Jotun arrival if it fires)
Night event D1–D5: intervene / watch / skipped — circle one each night.
Key Phrases you refuse to spend until the target evening: __________________
If a box is blank because you ran out of clock, that is a mini-game retry problem, not a missing DLC.
Achievement pass (after a blind ending)
- Read Achievements once — 52 unlocks, missables, 1.0.7 condition fixes.
- Do not restart a finale on a client older than 1.0.3.
- Cards and outfits: Collectibles — separate from Skins Pack.
- Crossover looks: Crossover Cast — not extra chapters.
What this planner will not do
It will not tell you the “correct” moral choice. It will not list every Key Phrase name (the game treats those as fiction-specific keys). It will not replace Steam Reviews if you hate long mini-games. It will not include unreleased story DLC guests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this an interactive route calculator?
No. It is a markdown checklist. Copy the evening boxes into your notes and fill them as you play.
How many romance routes should one save chase?
One staff route and at most one guest arc for a clean first file. Supporting everyone lowers trust across the board.
Do I need Deluxe to use this planner?
No. Deluxe is comics and cosmetics. Routes live in the base game. Story DLC is still unreleased.
Which patch matters for multi-save routing?
1.0.3 for choices that failed to save, 1.0.7 for coins and relationship values when switching files. Install both.
Where is the Jotun on this planner?
Day 5 is a guest-arrival beat, not a hidden eighth staff romance. Budget the evening; see the Jotun character page.
